I'm sure the rich spoiled German politicians would be happy to buy some of Greece's property. After all, Germany tried before to get some of the islands, so why not try again?

Well, when you go begging for money, don’t be surprised if the folks with the money want something in return...

Oh, is it only the empty ones? I kinda had dibs on Santorini...

So how many islands can we sell off California’s coast? After all, they’re just a little behind Greece

Germans have bought half of Spain. They particularly love the islands, where they go and get 3rd degree sunburns and surf the net for child porn (which seems to be a particularly German delight).

And what happens when they run out of islands?

Rosie O’Doller and Helen Isgenerous might make a bid on the Island of Lesbos!

Greece selling its assets for money would be a sensible, responsible way out of their self-created mess.
So I think we all know what will happen.

Go for a time share.
Live on a Greek island for twelve months, and let the Greek unions live there for the other two.

Wonder who will buy Lesbos?

“I’m sure the rich spoiled German politicians would be happy to buy some of Greece’s property. It’s the Greeks who are trying to steal by expecting to be bailed out for free. I think the US should be selling it’s public lands to pay off it’s debts too. Land, like companies, or collective farms, that are publicly owned is a communist idea and should be constitutionally prohibited.

If you mean WWII, not really. Mussolini attacked Greece.
Hitler always faces me with a fait accompli. This time I am going to pay him back in his own coin. He will find out from the papers that I have occupied Greece. Benito Mussolini
But then he needed a bailout due to military incompetence...

The Germans are playing the Greeks like a fiddle.
The Hellens aren’t all that smart, they think they are,but they are not.
Eventually they will get tired of others making fools of them;then they will do something really stupid.
