My brothers, my father, my grandfathers, all vets. They all agree- this guy is a POS traitor and does not deserve to have voting rights much less be allowed to run for Congress.

There are many MANY organizations who care for vets, and their families, and even go so far as to protect the fallen from being used as talking points for traitors like Kokesh.

It shames me to think that a FReeper would ally himself with such a person.

Sorry. I remember the days when Code Pink used to protest Fox News. I was out there back then helping defend Fox from the Pinkos. Now they are given carte blanche on Fox and the protests have stopped.

Here's one puff piece on Code Pink from Fox.

Code Pink loved the story so much they use a quote from it on their Web site:

"George Bush will eventually go back to Texas, and Code Pink is here to stay. Griff Jenkins, Fox News"

Did you see this gem where Bill O'Reilly cut off the mic of a Democrat strategist while praising Medea Benjamin?

some people postin gon this thread are pointing to the “work” that kokesh did to address ptsd in the iraq vets. i would submit to you that kokesh did little more than “talk” about the issue in order to aggrandize himself. kokesh was far to busy running around the country self-promoting. anyone who was seriously going to address the ptsd issue would have had to spent YEARS working on it.

this is just another case of kokesh saying the right things in order to dupe those around him.

O’Reilly’s a putz. Let’s agree on that and put him aside. You cannot truly believe that the majority of FNC staff/broadcasters are supporters of Code Pink. There’s no way; totally impossible.

As I said, I’ve watched more FNC than I care to admit. You do tend to get to know them; the “personalities”, their belief systems. O’Reilly (blowhard populist who tries to ply both sides), Shep (liberal leanings, given to histrionics, but not a bad guy), the F&F crew(s) (definitely conservative), Beck (don’t even have to say it; love ‘im), Greta (cerebral, nervous in front of a camera, but solid).....on and on.

Napolitano is a staunch Constitutionalist and a true patriot.

I can’t and won’t dignify one or two or three “puff” interviews, as they are being characterized here, as damning to the entire network. Not a chance.

I didn't say they support Code Pink. I said they promote them. If you only knew about Code Pink from Fox News, you'd never know they were working with state sponsors of terrorism and terrorist groups against America and our troops. You'd think they were just a whacky peace group.

Fox News does not report on what Code Pink is about. The worst stories about Code Pink were in 2005 when Fox picked up the CNSnews story about them protesting at Walter Reed. That odious protest is long forgotten at Fox and never mentioned when Code Pink is on for one of their many appearances on Fox.

As for Napolitano, watch his slobbering french kiss interview with Kokesh. See if that jibes with what we at Free Republic, Gathering of Eagles, 911Families, and Band of Mothers know about Kokesh.

I’ll trust a former soldier like Kokesh to look out more for veterans than another chickenhawk type like Mullins who seems to see soldiers as pawns in a grand game and not real human people. War has many consequences that go beyond the battlefield and there aren’t many in government who seem to recognize that.

And how do you happen to know *that* about Mullins, anywise?

Sorry, but no. Kokesh is a traitor and a scumbag, regardless of the meaningless little platitudes he mouths about taking care of veterans.

...which begs a simple question: Have you ever attempted to contact Napolitano and discuss this with him in any way? You’ve always had a knack for getting through to such people (and I know it isn’t easy). Have you tried? To get his side, to give him your info on the guy, to see/hear his response?

Napolitano’s a great guy; damned smart, dedicated to this country and its Constitution. If he is supporting a “slime ball” in some way, then there has to be much more to this story. Things aren’t always as they seem.

Give him the benefit of a doubt (he has more than earned it).

Napalitoano and his minions have no desire to research Kokesh to find the fact. Libertardians.

I stood out in front of the Army Recruiting Station at 14 & L in 2007 and watched Adam Kokesh and his Marxist friends (World Can’t Wait, ANSWER, SDS, IVAW and Code Pink), impede the efforts of the recruiters inside while running around in circles calling our Soldiers the terrorists! Adam made it known that day that his goal was that not one person would be recruited. 7 Metro Policeman had to stand there for 5 hours that day while these imbeciles he showed up with threw their temper tantrums! I have seen the antics of Kokesh and the groups he runs with and to say the least, they have undermined our troops and their mission. Do you think calling our troops terrorists and baby killers helps them and their mission, and how do you think it affects their morale?!!! How do you think it makes them feel when all these Marxists groups make them out to be the bad guys? Adam Kokesh was right there when these ungrateful miscreants called my Son a terrorist. If he loves his Brothers that are fighting, wouldn’t he and shouldn’t he have stopped that. He didn’t! He helped whoop all these anti-war people up, they got all kind of news coverage from the mainstream media, and our troops come home now, not to parades, as they should, but to disdain by many. Now Adam, who helped create this anti-war sentiment, now he presents himself as one who wants to help these Veterans with their PTSD, that he helped create?! He’s a sneak, he reminds me of a snake oil salesman.

Adam Kokesh is devoted to his own ambitions and uses his Brothers he served with to accomplish his self centered goals. Lastly, I have been a Republican my whole life and NEVER have I ever seen a Republican associate with the likes of Marxist groups like World Can’t Wait, ANSWER, SDS, IVAW and Code Pink. Adam cannot erase his past, I watched him with his Marxist friends call our Soldiers the terrorists, he stabbed his brothers in the back and he uses them to further his own ambitions.

The Warriors in this war are not fooled by his behavior and Semper Fi is not just an expression, it is a way of life.

A “Taft Republican” refers to Senator Robert Taft of Ohio, who was the leading Republican voice against FDR, the New Deal, and government empowered labor unions. The 1952 Republican Convention, in which the Eastern Establishment utilized the “Fair Play” vote to deny Taft victory and steal the nomination for Eisenhower was a watershed moment in Conservative Political History and mobilized a generation of conservative activists who would finally get their revenge in 1964 with the nomination of Barry Goldwater.

William Howard Taft, on the other hand, was a deplorable American President who as you rightly note, did briefly serve as Imperial Governor of Cuba before moving on to the Presidency where he advanced such “conservative” policies as strengthening the Interstate Commerce Commision, passing the 16th Amendment (The Income Tax), and overseeing an illegal invasion of Nicaragua.

Whatever shortcomings Adam Kokesh may have as a candidate, I’m sure he at least knows the difference between the two.

I am aware of that, however, it has become a common misconception among these kids who think they know about the Liberty movement that it is in ref to President Taft- always highlighting policy differences between him and Wilson versus Senator Taft and the differences between him and FDR. I was referring to the common discussion among the dolts.

As for if Kokesh knows, I doubt it.. other than spouting a few lines verbatim from blogs, he seems to be a dolt. He just repeats Paulianian mantras instead of understanding the fundamentals.

...to pile on to that, I just did a quick Google check of Taft references at the “Daily Paul” and over half seem to refer to President Taft instead of Senator Taft.

You are right who they ‘should’ compare to, but it isn’t the case of who they are comparing to.
