OK - is there a site that shows all the people in the House and does a guess-estimate on which way they are firm to vote one way or the other and leaning one way or the other?

Thanks for pointing out that the Senate - Nuculer Option is a Red Herring. ObamaCare lives or dies in the House.

This is the best information I can find:

According to an Associated Press survey, 10 Democrats have not ruled out switching their ‘no’ votes to ‘yes’ on Obama’s plan. They are:

Brian Baird of Washington
Bart Gordon of Tennessee
John Tanner of Tennessee
(The above three are not seeking re-election.)
Rick Boucher of Virginia
Suzanne Kosmas of Florida
Frank Kratovil of Maryland
Michael McMahon of New York
Walt Minnick of Idaho
Scott Murphy of New York
Glenn Nye of Virginia.

The Capitol Switchboard is: (202) 224-3121. Call and tell the operator which office you would like to be connected to.

More contact information can be found at http://www.contactingthecongress.org/ and http://www.house.gov/house/MemberWWW_by_State.shtml .

Additionally, consider calling the 64 Democrats who voted for the Stupak amendment, which forbids forcing Americans to fund abortion.

I don't think so. At least I haven't seen it. What we do know is that the retirements and switched votes have left the vote vis a vis the original House vote at dead even. If every member of the House that voted YES on the House Bill votes YES on the Senate Bill it is a 216 to 216 tie - or close to that.

But Rep. Stupak and 11 other Pro-Lifers (all Dems) voted YES last time because they had added in a anti-abortion funding amendment. That amendment is not in the Senate Bill and Rep. Stupak knows it. He has stated that he and the other 11 Pro-Life Dems will vote NO on the Senate Bill. If they stick to their guns, which is likely, then Nancy has to convert at least 12 NO votes to YES votes. Not likely to happen IMHO.

In any case, the thing to watch in the next few days is for Dems to declare themselves as either YES or NO votes on the Senate Bill. Also watch the Senate to see if they can figure out how to do something to convince Stupak et al to change their minds. And have plenty of popcorn available.
