Finally, there's a premiere date and a name for John King's new 7pmET political show on CNN. "John King, USA" will debut March 22nd -- with an "online preview" coming March 19th -- according to a brand new promo that was just posted on CNN.com. The announcement comes from King himself, who tweeted out the video this morning.
"John King, USA" is the permanent replacement for Lou Dobbs, who left the network in November. For a period, the time slot was filled by a temporary "CNN Tonight," and later by an hour of Wolf Blitzer's "Situation Room."
"One of the things they tell do you in this business is having your name in the title of the show is important," King says in the promo. "That's actually a little bit uncomfortable for me." Clip below:
Does this mean we have to actually root for Shep?
CNN and MSNBC combined wouldn’t be half of Fox’s nite time
audience.
Just because he’s Larry King’s son doesn’t mean he’ll be successful.
