My point was not so much what others have done, although Britain may have already ceased to exist in any meaningful sense, but to point out that Papa Doc Barack has deliberately alienated our traditional allies. Perhaps we will now have a “special relationship” with Venezuela.
I spent the summer there with my Aussie girlfriend ... we went out into the outback to places like Roma and Charleville ....
If we do, it'll be because we have a size 14 brass-toed boot wedged tightly where it'll hurt the caudillo Chavez the worst.
Sure hope we get a real Prez in 2012 -- but the palmy East Coast money will be in there again with their yacht-club, frat-boy candidates throwing money around by the sackful.
Yeah, Mitt. I mean you.
Where is your job going to take you?
Well it looks beautiful even if it is a good ways past the Great Black Stump. What are you going be doing out there, if you don’t mind my asking?
I’m going to be flying for:http://www.flyingdoctor.org.au/
The Kennedy curse was not just what happened to that family but what happened to this country as a result of that family. History is repeating itself, only with the muslims trying to exterminate God’s people.
Didnt you attack their currency a few years back?
Your best friends aren’t neccesarily the ones that agree with you all the time...
If another war kicks off in the Falklands, he may have to pull British troops out of Afghanistan.
Perhaps, as Britons were not allowed to vote for Obama, it didnt make any damn difference who they supported
Attack their currency? Don’t think so. In what way?
Hmmmm....I guess I failed to mention that the Aussies have never invaded the US and burnt down our then Presidential Palace.
If you check the history, you’ll find that a) Australia was part of the British Empire then, so yes, in fact they did invade the US and burnt down the Whitehouse and b) said invasion and burning was specifically in retaliation for a prior US invasion of Canada and burning down of its capital (I believe what is now known as Toronto).
I didn’t say YOU wrote an article alleging a US attack on the Australian currency, and anyway more specifically it would be an attack by US based speculators, not the US people as a whole.
I don’t recall the circumstances. I just remember some Aussie bemoaning it a few years back. Perhaps he was mistaken.
I remember once kidding around with my Aussie girlfriend about the difference in our currency - me saying it’s all the same size and color and telling her that theirs was different sizes and colors ... but that was in emails ... your post intimated that I was attacking or disparaging their currency in some way ...
