Well the way they create men without wives is by allowing the rich (a relative term of course) guys to have 4, depriving 3 not so well off guys of wives. That of course doesn't count the ones "out of circulation" as concubines. Makes for lots of warriors, with little to live for, and lots of anger.
Women are mistreated in Islamic countries, certainly.
But they don't have a gender misbalance problem due to killing little girls.
