News apparently came out around August 19, 2009
Uh oh....No more powdered donuts for me!!!
When in Goergia back in the ‘90s, while at work, I got one Helluva headache. I asked if anyone had some aspirin and one guy said “Goodys”(sp??). I said OK and he gave me a little paper packet which contained a white powder. It WAS headache medicine but I joked that carrying packets of that stuff would get you handcuffed in the back of the cruiser. Having seen only pictures of heroin, that stuff sure looked like a ringer. I stuck with aspirin ever since.
My father had a very sensitive G I system and use to snort tylenol until they started making capusules you couldn’t take apart...he was quite good at it...Passed away at 85 or 86 don’t remember his exact age..
Summer of 2009 I saw a Kissimmee patrol officer pull over a car for traffic violations while ignoring 3 crack/meth heads passed out ON the street about 20 yards away, at 2 pm on a week day. Revenue collection is the name of the game there, imho.
The Kissimmee police force does “show of force” exercises where they all put on SWAT armor, pull out the paddy wagon and park it 50 feet from the ticket window of the movie theater, and patrol the local Kohl’s/movie theater/chain restaurant strip mall WHILE carrying loaded shotguns on a Friday afternoon. I have not seen similar before in the USA, I have seen similar in Israel during the Intifada bombings.
Then at night the Kissimmee police force descend upon the local bars and get comped their entire drink/meals every night, a few of the fatter bastards show up several times a week for free slop from the trough. I’ve seen several of them clearly off duty at the bars, drinking, while displaying open carry sidearms, which I am most certain is illegal in Florida.
