Hollywood Courage: Tom Hanks Fawns Over Obama, Slams Fox News on…MSNBC
Big Hollywood ^ | 3/6/10 | John Nolte

Posted on 03/06/2010 1:30:20 PM PST by jimbo123

Watch the video (full segment is here). Some of it’s just strange. Hanks hand-wrings over parents not being able to get their kids to the hospital if GM is no longer in business. At least that’s what I think he says, because when you live in a bubble where no one ever says ‘Huh?,” much less challenges you, those are the kinds of things you start to say and believe. Scary.

And when Hanks speaks of a propaganda network doing the President’s bidding, does he not see the irony of his being on MSNBC? The day before he was on Good Morning America. Really, Tom, no irony at all as you do the Obama Propaganda Network Tour?

I always loathed Tom Hanks. Some people say “oh but he and spielberg made movies about WW2.” No they got richer off exploiting WW2.

Hey Tommie. Google “Dixie Chicks” and “Sean Penn”. See what happens to ‘entertainers’ who become shills for marxist liberals.

Hanks has made some good movies, but really, what do I care about what some Hollywood type says? Hanks has no domestic or foreign policy expertise as far as I know. Neither do I, but no one cares what I think. So why should I care about Hanks’ opinions?

Frankly, I couldn’t care less that they were involved in “Saving Private Ryan”, which we all know was supposed to be soft-pedal on how evil it is to ever get into war. Never heard Hanks worrying about WWII until he was in that pix - now you can’t hear enough from him.

Just another liberal, I always say.

Tom Hanks is an actor. Tom pretends to be people. Writers make up stories. Directors guide actors so that the pretend story is believable. Producers break legs, blackmail, and call in favors to get money to pay everyone making movies. Agents make all of Tom’s bad deeds go away and turn Tom into a star for a percentage.

Tom has a toupee. I like Tom’s toupee because it looks natural.

Tom Hanks is an actor with a good toupee that pretends to be humans that don’t exist.

I like humans.

Tom Hanks must be right.

Unfortunately all of them are - but they aren’t ostracized at all. Most are lionized and continue to be idolized by the ninkumpoops of this country.

Your statements frame exactly why I’m appalled at all the press these idiots get for THEIR (unbalanced) views, and how they never shirk at giving it, either.

Like most of today’s actors, Hanks would have staved during Hollywood’s Golden Age of the 30s or 40s. Somehow I can’t see him in Casablanca, the Thin Man, Gone With the Wind, the Mark of Zorro, Robin Hood, the Big Sleep...you get the idea.

Are you trying to tell me that Tom Hanks really wasn’t there for D-Day and the rest of it?

Hanks has made some good movies

And plenty of crap movies too.

but really, what do I care about what some Hollywood type says? “

Nope.
Nevertheless, when he attacks conservatives in general, we are gonna hit him right back..with compound interest.

Hanks has no domestic or foreign policy expertise as far as I know”

You would be right.
Tom Hanks attended California State University in Sacramento, California, and he majored in, wait for it... Theater. In my day, it was usually pinheads, who majored in Theater.
I know a heck of a lot more about foreign policy and foreign affairs than this POS does, having actually lived in quite a few countries in my lifetime, paid close attention to what happens in other countries for over 20 years.

Really? Hanks has a hair piece?

How do you know that?

Can’t he just act as if he has hair?

I think that is hysterical.

Too bad we all can’t go on t.v. and harrangue libs and the likes of Hanks.
What we can do is voice our displeasure with their b.s. by NOT supporting their movies music or whatever.
Like what happened to the F*&^ing Dixie Chicks.
Guess I’ll not give another Hanks project any more of my money or support.
Yo TOM, F you pal.
