Thats funny considering all of the negative people say that it will hurt her, now you’re saying that its all about her......its not going to hurt her in the long run but upset some for awhile and alot that say that it will hurt for the long run were ones that never supported her in the first place....i dont like it for sure but sarah is not loved by the Republican establishment, hasn’t compromise on core basic conservative principles yet, is not backed by special interest groups.

“.if Hayworth loses it will be HIS fault and nobody else’s. Endorsements don’t win a campaign.”

Then why is McCain importing “endorsements” from Boston to Alaska for an Arizona race? Do you even read what you type?

LOL!

LMAO!!

Take a look at the attendees to that Arizona Biltmore shindig, pal.

Jim Click?

Owns 6 major car dealerships
Is a GOP insider
Is for amnesty, and has been known to hire a lot of illegals.

Three others are big real estate developers who also have hired many illegal immigrants/

Two that I know of are big GOP money men.

You can’t get any more “special interest” than these clowns.

These are all country club republicans from our local society pages.

She said she was going to campaign for him, it is called keeping her word. There is not defense necessary.

To be precise Palin did say that she 'keeps her promises'. She has, up to this point, not expounded on what that 'promise' was/is.
Unless she, Palin, divulges this it is mere conjecture for anyone to define it.

Read post #36

Those people are there for McCain not for Sarah, they may clap for her but she is not their kind and visa versa

They are there for McCain, and Sarah is there for McCain. They are now married as far as I am concerned.

To be fair, (as I'm won't to do), Palin's reaction and mien were very interesting as Leno asked about McCain.
The manner, especially her tone of voice, in which she said 'well just for one day, anyway' in response to her being 'back with McCain' was, to me, a scathing remonstrance of McCain.
I'd be surprised if this appearance on McCain's behalf is not her last with him, at least during this campaign.

If you can find someone that agrees with you 150% of the time, please let me know! She is a pro life Conservative, she is right on all the issues that are important to me.

Reminds me a little bit of the man that said, “after years of searching, I have finally found the perfect Church to attend” It wont be for long once this fellow joins

I thought Sarah Palin’s explanation on Leno was excellent- if she could tell the whole country to vote for him for President, then she should be able to tell Arizona to return him to the Senate.

If she was a REAL conservative, she would have waited through the primary, like Sen. DeMint is doing. That dog won’t hunt.
Like Rush Limbaugh said 10 or so days ago

” Don’t confuse Palin with the tea party. Palin is a Republican”

DeMint has endorsed Rubio in the Florida GOP primary.

One thing found about Sarah Palin, is that because of her unique situation of rising throughout the ranks of political positions is that she was not beholden to any special-interest groups.

Even the Lame MSM like the AP tried but fail to connect her to anyone.

So, six degrees of separations at a fundraiser is not good enough.

I completely agree.

Like it or not, if you're going to win the GOP primary, you need the GOP machine. This event is not about Palin making an appearance in Arizona.

I'll put up a challenge to everyone who thinks Palin backing McCain is a bad idea: Watch how many GOP big wigs show up at this event. Why? To be seen With SARAH - not McCain.

Right now, Palin has the economic and political 'midas touch'. You better believe with all the anti-palin trolls in the comment boxes everywhere, there are a WHOLE LOT of democrats who are even listen to what the gal from Alaska is saying these days.

Everyone has lost faith in the Obamination, and the dems still ain't worries about Romey Huckabee, or Palenty (Barbour could make a run - but we'll see). They only fear Palin. And you can bet the libs are a LOT more nervous about Palin backing McCain than even folks on our side.

So, suck it up people and take a pill. No politician make you happy all the time. It's part of the business. As for Palin, I still like what I see and hear from here. Most of all, I like her tactics and strategy.

Thank you. You are the first person I've seen throughout all the hyperbolic, hysterical "discussions" since the Leno show to acknowledge this telling indicator about Palin's positioning on this regarding her "support" for McCain.

I'd be surprised if this appearance on McCain's behalf is not her last with him, at least during this campaign.

I'm not certain if she has committed to more than one appearance in Arizona, but I'm unaware of any beyond this dinner. At this point, based on what she has actually done, the whining complaints about her "campaigning" for McCain are somewhat ridiculous. She hasn't done any actual campaigning for him yet, and based on her acknowledged commitments, it doesn't appear she'll be doing much campaigning for him.

What she has done is give, out of political necessity, a pro forma political endorsement, and agreed to a very limited schedule of public appearances. And when, in public appearances for her own projects she has inevitably been asked to comment on it she has graciously reiterated her endorsement. However, to listen to some of the rabid complainers on this board you'd think she was leading a town hall, rubber chicken dinner, whistle stop bus tour all over Arizona for McCain.

Is it regrettable that she felt she had to acknowledge political reality and extend a calculated tactical endorsement to McCain? Certainly. Will it carry a cost for her? Absolutely. Will there be some longer term benefit to her as well. Yep.

And finally, does it merit all this hysteria, whining and melodrama? Hardly.
