“When I voted against the cap and trade bill, the phone rang and it was the chief of staff to the president of the United States of America, Rahm Emanuel, and he started swearing at me in terms and words that I hadn’t heard since that crossing the line ceremony on the USS New Jersey in 1983,” Massa said. “And I gave it right back to him, in terms and words that I know are physically impossible.”

If this story gets legs, this might be a jump-the-shark moment for BO, or at least Rahm...
It's direct, to the point, titillating enough to spark people's interest, and really puts Rahm in a bad light. Depends on how sympathetic a "victim" this Massa guy is, and if Massa can get more play out of being a victim, or accepting some sort of political payoff.

I was at an information meeting for Americans for Prosperity yesterday and heard that Massa would run on the ballot for the special election.
Course, prior to this, we hadn’t heard anything else. This guy should rescind his resignation and VOTE. I pray he stays alive to do so.
The audio is fantastic. He makes no bones about he is being got of rid of because Rahm hates him and he is the deciding vote against Obamacare.
The press must be dropping dead. It’s just such a juicy sound byte, yet publishing it will damage the Dems.
Rush is all over it. Huffpo just picked up the story.

Too right. If some maniac charges up to me in a public shower and pokes his finger into my chest, he's gonna be bounced off the tile several times before his trip to the emergency room - WHCOS or not.
