I’m 48 and was talking to my Doctor about this just last week. He kept talking about ‘prep’ - I had no idea what it was until he told me. Some kind of liquid you drink that cleans you out - but good.

My impression is, once you drink it, you hover very close to the toilet - for good reason.

Hovering is not a good idea.

It's a double procedure. You get a dynamite pill to dislodge whatever's in your gut and a two quart bottle with dry chemical to mix with water and drink for about 2 hours; that's the flush. First, you take the pill and wait for the time bomb to go off, which it WILL. Then you start drinking the chemical flushing solution that's designed to be incapable of intestinal absorption and, therfore, to rush through your gut like a flash flood. From the moment you take the dyanmite pill until about four hours later you should be very close to a toilet; you'll badly need to be. The procdedure itself is an anitclimax, since you'll be unconscious through most of it. Having gone through two of these, I am describing my own direct, personal experiences and would be legally competent to testify in court about them.
