A Queens woman has been charged with animal cruelty after her neighbors caught her on video beating an 11-month-old English bull dog with a snow shovel.
Maria Aguilar allegedly crippled the dog with her months of abuse. She faces two felony counts -- animal cruelty and possession of a weapons for allegedly beating the dog with a shovel.

That was cruel. I hate to say it but I do hope this woman doesn’t do any babysitting.
Cruelty to animals is almost always a pre-cursor to violent behavior against man. Anyone who believes an animal can be tortured or cruelly treated just because they are an animal is a sick and twisted person.
Here’s where an eye for an eye comes into play.

If the abuser truly believed that an animal is just an object, they would derive no pleasure/gratification from torturing it. Therefore, they are aware of its suffering, and derive pleasure/gratification from it.
I love English Bulldogs. The cops would have found a broken, bloody shovel, a body, and a man and a dog’s footprints in the snow leading away into the sunset.
I was a little redundant in that first paragraph. I was a little distracted...in my mind, I was still swinging the shovel.
The creature is facing 4 years in prison. I hope she does every day of that. And her husband, who took the pup multiple times to the vet : Does he deserve credit for getting the puppy medical care, or does he also deserve an ass kicking, for not rescuing the pup from PsychoWife?

Exactly, but there are some FRiends who like to show up on threads like these and dismiss animal cruelty because animals are “nothing but property”.

I volunteer to personally administer the same treatment to the bitch that was inflicted upon the bulldog.

That poor puppy. What did he do to deserve that, pee while you left him locked in the house all day? They should do that same to her and see how she likes it.
As a Bulldog owner and lover for most of my life, I have nothing to say about this piece of excrement. I do have to question why she invested a large amount of money (locally, 1500-3000 dollars) to abuse this animal. Bulldogs, when raised with love, exercise and discipline are the greatest in the world. As a breeding female, she could make her a great deal of money.
