Just guessing here...the Israeli banks aren’t sure if they’re going to even BE there, so they’re telling investors to divest themselves in our to protect any investments.
Are they actually afraid they’re going to get nuked?
I don’t honestly see the possibility. There is still Someone who protects Israel, and I really don’t think He will allow that to happen.

The way I understand it are that the Israelis have a very tight noose on the Israeli press outlets. However, they can’t keep them from re-printing something that has already been reported outside of Israel.

That’s interesting, but that source that you’re referring to is its own publication... LOL... so Haaretz is basically sourcing itself... :-)
I think we need some more information, background and/or context for this story. It’s too “slim” as it stands.

Famines, wars and earthquakes have happened practically every year of recorded human history and beyond. Nothing is new or prophetic about that fact.
That's true and the Bible doesn't say that this indicates that the last of the end days are near because of that. It says that the end is "not yet" when you see these things... :-)
There are other things that indicate that the end of the last days is very near... (and that's true, apart from these things mentioned above).
How long does it take to inspect and the fuel an ICBM? Or to prepare a submarine for launching missiles?
Interesting...if it’s true and the Israeli banks are contacting their clients directly I would think someone could chime in and verify...but maybe it’s supposed to be confidential.
Still, makes me a bit nervous.

I don't know about that. I mean, by that -- that the Bible says that about 2/3 of the Jews will be killed by the end of the Tribulation... so those particular ones won't be protected (at least not from being killed).
I'm not sure how the Jews are going to be able to tell if they are in the 2/3 who are killed or the 1/3 who are still alive when the Messiah of Israel returns to the earth.

That is exactly what I’m thinking. Israel is between a rock and a hard place. They have considerable military might for the size country they are, but Iran is a much larger country, and even though many Iranians dislike their government, things could change if they are attacked. And Persians are not Iraqis.Plus the other muslim countries that may get involved, and the fact that our POS in Chief is no friend of Israel.

I say that because it seems that Jerusalem has to be intact and habitable during the Tribulation. If they detonated a nuke of sufficient size over Tel Aviv (the most likely place for a target), radiation would kill much of the Israeli population. Jerusalem might become uninhabitable.
