what I find weird is that this is something you would typically find on some tinfoil website, not reported thru a major news outlet

That is exactly what I’m thinking. Israel is between a rock and a hard place. They have considerable military might for the size country they are, but Iran is a much larger country, and even though many Iranians dislike their government, things could change if they are attacked. And Persians are not Iraqis.Plus the other muslim countries that may get involved, and the fact that our POS in Chief is no friend of Israel.
