ABC News: Neither [President Barack Obama or HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius] mentioned that the Senate health reform bill, which is the basis for Democrats' last best chance at comprehensive reform, would give the insurance companies millions of new customers required by law to buy health insurance.
It would also require insurers to cover everyone, regardless of age, gender or pre-existing condition.
To help pay for the new insurance requirements the government would give to people money to buy insurance - $336 billion over the next ten years.
That money, ultimately, would have to go to... drum roll... insurance companies.

I have a hunch that the rate increases seen lately from the insurance companies are part of a campaign to pass the health-care bill. I believe they are in cahoots with Obama.

Well, that drum roll is news to a lot of people who think the “left” support Obamacare and that Obamacare is “Socialist” etc.
A lot of them are business cultists, they cannot imagine large private entities do not work for their own best interests.

Liberals say insurance companies are evil because people pay them for their services but they’re heroic if government forcibly takes money and gives it to them?
So, a person can wait until they get a serious sickness, sign up then and the insurance company HAS TO insure them.

If the Senate put in a clause requiring us all to buy 3 Nine Inch Nails CDs each year would that be constitutional?
How about a Chevy Van? Or maybe Al Gore's DVD and book. Surely the Supreme Court would realize that all of these things benefit society and therefore are "good" and so whatever the Constitution actually says can't really be that important. Some things are just more important than the Constitution. Obamacare and Nine Inch Nails CDs for example.

I have been posting this for days, Facism at work. Wake up folks, Barry has already bought the insurance companies. Why do you think they are not fighting this out loud? Barry goes out and flames them, but they don’t care. He did this to the banks too. This stuff is getting old and it is so obvious.
By the way, they will get screwed in the end.

Of course he cares. It is to go to private insurers, always the plan, and they kick back a percentage as “campaign contributions”.
