NY Times ^ | HELENE COOPER

President Obama challenged wavering members of his own party on Monday not to give in to their political fears about supporting health care legislation, asserting that the urgency of getting a bill through Congress should trump any concern about the consequences for Democrats in November.

Pass it you fools. We won’t obey your health care laws and you can shove it and we’ll help you in November, we’ll come to the polls armed with shovels and bury you in defeat. You dirty bastards.

The implosion is accelerating and Obama needs it to pass before he goes totally off the rails and his own party picks another candidate before 2012.

His own party could choose another in 2012? Could we see Hillary resign as Sec. of State and gear up for a 2012 primary challenge? The Clintons may yet make their political comeback.

The democrats better start thinking of themselves and their families future... this is no longer about politics, it’s become personal.

Dear Dems,

On your knees and do the following....

1. Draw out Wakasashi blade
2. Point tip towards stomach (lef side)
3. Insert blade
4. Cut towards the right
5. Let contents spill out
6. Wait until you pass out or have companion behead you.

If Obama loses the 2012 primary, blacks will flip out. I'm talking about a major psychotic episode.

Obama had one shot to get this passed, and he failed. Why? Because he was an inexperienced dealmaker who let others tell him what he wanted to hear.

Mitch McConnell deserves a lot of credit for keeping the Republican Senators at the barricades in the face of overwhelming odds.

Nancy Pelosi deserves a lot of scorn from her side for letting a simple piece of legislation balloon into the nightmare bill it has become.

Think about it, a simple 80 page bill that overhauled the basic structure of insurance regulation could have been passed within a week and would have cleared the Senate a week later. Then she could have gone back and piece by piece pushed through legislation that would have become the bloated monstrosity that it has become.

The lack of a deft touch, the lack of dealmaking experience and the hubris of Obama, Pelosi and Reid combined with the stalling actions of Republicans who stood at the gate has led us to this point.

And Obama’s odds are slipping everyday.

You would think that the exposure of the shockingly unethical tactics of an unhinged Rahm running naked through the Congressional locker room, berating anyone with an opinion he doesn’t care for would have been a wake-up call to Barry that the healthcare bill debate has jumped the shark. Unfortunatly, he doesn’t seem to get the picture and continues to embarrass himself and demolishes any chance of a future healthcare bill from passing due to his diminished stature. If he had any sense he would fire Rahm and start over with something that the public actually wants.

Honestly I think they would behave that way in 2016. Lets face it, once a black man holds a seat, that constituency assumes that a black man is always entitled to it.
