Chris Matthews Agrees: Yeah, There’s Some Racism Involved In Why Israelis Don’t Like Obama

I can’t wait until they try to put him up on a pedestal later in his life. Look at all he has accomplished! I’m getting a tingle up my leg just thinking about it.

Chris Matthews: Who’s more popular over here? Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, Joe Biden. Put them in order. Who’s the most popular figure over here in Israeli?

Ethan Bronner: Bill Clinton is the most popular of those four. And I would say Hillary is probably next. And then I would say Joe Biden. And then president Obama.

Chris Matthews: Okay, that tells you a lot. So tell me why the President of the United States is so far at the bottom? Is it his middle name? Hussein?

Ethan Bronner: I would say that there is some level of prejudice about the fact that he had some islamic background through his stepfather. But I think it has more to do with the fact that when he came in to office a year ago he wanted to recalibrate the relationship between the United States and the Muslim world. And the easiest way to do that was to put some distance between the United States and Israel. And he did that. And that made people nervous. I think there’s some sense here, that some degree of racism to be perfectly honest.

Chris Matthews: Yeah, because they see it as a black man.

Thanks for sharing that Sarah....I have some Jewish friends here in the states and during the Pres. run they were absolutely closed to any information that was not favorable for obama...they vote democrate regardless...more like a family tradition than an election you have a choice in. It was soooo frustrating trying to have a political discussion.

So I love to hear when Jewish people investigate their candidate and draw their own conclusions. I think there are more who do this than some might realize.

I just saw an obscene interview on Fox. Shep Smith actually was making the point that Israel might against obama because his MIDDLE NAME IS HUSSEIN. At least Judith Miller refuted it. Said not likely. More likely obama and what he has done to Israel since day one, and included all his muslim advisors and previous associations. Wright, et al. This is getting ridiculous and we should speak up and speak out. Shep Smith sounded more like Chris Matthews than I ever thought possible.
