Good for Chief Justice Roberts.

Because he’s ‘special’. Just ask him, he will be glad to tell you how special he is.

Chief Justice Roberts - Have you reviewed all the data Orly Taitz gave you at the University of Idaho?

Get your state to pass a law that a presidential candidate must have a birth certificate on file before they can be on the ballot. Then the case will get real. Until a state does that the birth certificate is not an issue.

BTW, all of you George W. Bush haters at F.R., missing him yet? I know some of you will call me a BushBot, but Bush did appoint both Alito and Roberts to the Supreme Court, if I recall correctly.

And it is Roberts who is calling out President Obama. And it was Alito who was spotted saying “not true” when Obama foisted one of his many lies on his audience that night.

Two real men. And nominated to the Supreme Court by a real man.

A real man who saw our enemies for precisely what they were. Maybe Bush wasn’t a great president, but what was the defining issue for him? Which cards did God deal to him?

And based on that, kindly catalog the number of terrorist attacks against us after 9/11 under President Bush’s watch.

That was a man. Like Reagan, like Lincoln, like FDR (for all of FDR’s countless faults on the domestic front), like George Washington, Bush had a clarity of vision, a blinding, on-the-road-to-Damascus, flash of insight about who are our enemies — and he took the battle to them

A president’s legacy includes his Supreme Court appointments.

I’ll put up Roberts and Alito — and Scalia and Thomas, even Kennedy, for that matter — up against Breyer, Ginsburg, Stevens and Sotomayor — anytime, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.

After Obama was elected, I knew a day would come when even some of the Bush Haters here would start to miss the dude.

You know who you are. You’ll never admit it. Maybe not even to yourselves. But more of you are missing President Bush, for all of his flaws — and they were many.

But at the last throw, there was a real man.

-George
