Either your bias is showing or you just don’t read well. BryceXRoads analogy doesn’t “compare Palin to Patton”.
The analogy compares Patton’s slap to the face and taken off the field...to Palin’s endorsement of McCain and a vocal minority punishing her by eliminating her from consideration or “taking her off the field”. The best viable conservative in the field at that.

You can feign all you want...but if he is nominated you will be his biggest supporter (of course because obama is the bigger threat).
At that point it won’t matter what you say or what Palin supporters say. Romney has no chance due to ObamaCare passing.
The odds are that you will get your way. Romney will hand the 8 year term to Obama. I’ll be laughing my ass off at you Romneyites. ObamaCare equals taking out Romney instantly.
The other part of the grand plan by Palin attackers is the 3% Fringers and PaulNuts will have divided conservatives and maybe crack 3.5%. Interesting that establishment GOP types forming a coalition with Fringers to give us Obama.

Of course I will support him in the General Election. I supported McCain in the last election, even though he was 5th on my list in the republican primary. I've never said or "feigned" otherwise -- it works better if your straw man is something that is actually silly.

This is precisely how I feel about Palin. There is NO other political figure at all who even remotely gets this response from Obama. Not even close. Romney, McCain, (insert name here, no one gets the response of the obamanation that Sarah does, and that tells me that it is HER they fear.
If they fear her, then they have REASON to fear her. That works for me!
Ok, so name ONE office that Obama filled the full term of.

She left for exactly the right reasons, and it was a BENEFIT to the state that she did.
- Stay and spend the next 2 years fighting BS Ethics violations and doing literally nothing else for that entire time
vs.
-Resign and allow the state to move forward with out the BS Ethics violations that were literally grinding the working of the governor’s office to a complete standstill.
One does nothing for the state of Alaska, the other does a great deal.
One required that she deliberately choose to handicap the state for two years. The other took that target out of the field, and allows Alaska’s government to FUNCTION to the benefit of the people it is supposed to be working for.
You do the math.
She made the HARDER decision to leave, and it was the RIGHT decision for the State.
