Whites Moving Closer To Minority Status In U.S.
Demographers Say 48 Percent Of Kids Born In 2008 Were Minorities, And This Year Could Be The "Tipping Point"

WASHINGTON (AP) - This could be the year that the number of babies born to minorities in America outnumbers babies born to whites.
That's because immigration has boosted the number of Hispanic women in their prime childbearing years. Hispanic women have an average 2.99 children to 1.87 among white women. In 2008, 48 percent of the children born in the U.S. were minorities.
Sociology professor Kenneth Johnson of the University of New Hampshire says by mid-century, census projections suggest that America "may become a minority-majority country." But at the moment, whites make up two-thirds of the total population.
The birth numbers highlight the nation's growing racial and age divide. There are strong implications for the 2010 population count, which begins in earnest next week.

You have to look at what kind of Hispanic ~ BTW, you give North America a couple of dozen winters like the last one we've had, combined with several weeks of subzero weather, you'll find out who is truly adapted to living here.

I take that back. They obviously ARE a minority already. Been so for a long time.

Hard working americans ARE the minority. How do you think Obama got to be Prez. While writing the constitution, our forefathers discussed this ad nauseum as a possible future problem. The Senate...was to be the solution.
Whites already are a minority. They have been for decades. Only 30 percent of North Americans are a genetically pure anything.
The small political constituancy of those who refuse to disavow parts of their heritage in favor of one is growing.
If your that worried about minorities taking over the country then log off and start siring or bearing babies. Easy as that.
And once they get over that 50% mark what will they be called? Majorities? Then we can have the headline: "Women and Majorities Hurt the Most".

We’ll be feeling special, alright, just like how Christians in Nigeria feel kinda special when their Muslim neighbors come to call with machetes.
The problem is that the rise of industry in this country that made it so wealthy and influential was not done so out of racial identity.
If racial identity becomes the primary driver, as it would so appear will be the case far into the future, the country will not survive, rather we’ll become more like Nigeria, less like America.
And what will the colored’s do when they are the majority? There are not enough of them who will produce to keep the leeches. When producing no longer benefits me, I won’t help the bums.
They lump in all current minorities as one block verses caucasians. However blacks are about 13 or 14 per cent of the population and Hispanics about the same right now. Even if present trends towards “minority status continue” blacks will still stay about 15 percent while the Hispanic share will rise to about 35 percent...the Hispanics are having more babies while the blacks are aborting themselves out of existence...so by 2040 or so you’ll still have caucasians at about 50 percent, Hispanics at 35 per cent and Blacks at 15 percent, adjusting a few per cent here and there for our Hawaiian,Korean,Chinese and Japanese ethnicities. The present behavior of Hispanics towards blacks indicate they don’t see much in common with blacks other than being fellow “jostle” mates at the common pig slop the Liberal Dem’s have provided thus far!
I put no stock whatever into race but in Judeo-Christian values which however, do not appear to be held by the majority either.
