Yes, being in front of the blade of a moving bulldozer is definitely the wrong side of the bulldozer to be on.

I've often wondered, if a group decided they would stand in front of every car on the road to protest burning gasoline, how many of them would end up "accidentally" run over.

I agree with you. I feel terrible for her parents. Wasn’t she willing to lay down her life for others, wasn’t that the whole purpose? Or was it all just for show? My guess is, the bulldozer driver didn’t mean to run over her. He probably thought she moved or miscalculated how far he had gone. At any rate unless you are truly willing to give up your life, don’t stand in front of a bulldozer.
