Just remember that no matter what his ratings are, he will not be alone on the ballot in 2012.
If the Republicans put up another RINO like Dole in 1996, like Huckabee the amnesty man or Romney the Romneycare man they will lose just as badly in 2012.

What makes it even tougher for Obama is that he never had a time early on in his Administration when he at least tried to work in a conciliatory manner with Republicans. Instead it has been an all-out, bollocks-to-the-wall Alinskyfest from the start. Therefore, he never had a wellspring of good feelings to go back to when things got tough. Look at his positive numbers since January '09: it looks like a plane losing altitude.

FLASH! Obama doesn’t care! Until today I was giving even odds that Obama would try to impose DeathCare by executive order.

I was listening to Blow Scarborough on the radio this am. I have no idea why. Blow’s opinion (and I believe many democrats as well) is that once this bill passes the President’s popularity and the democrat’s popularity will instantly rebound. I hope it will be quite the opposite and that people will be angrier at them for pushing this through.

I worry about Gotterdammerung.I had to look that up--from Wagner's "The Ring," it means: "A turbulent ending of a regime or an institution."

If republicans lose in 2012 it will be because of a huge black turnout for Obama. He will lose the white vote again, the question is by how much.
And he may be getting a big hispanic vote as he is readying amnesty.

Worst day ever? Including the future? No, probably not the worst then.

Yes, lets break support and start talking -30 plus ratings. Think that would pretty well shut down congress for the forseeable future?

*DOH*
I meant (a) is a subset of (b) — all commies are stupid but not all stupid people are commies.
Some of us in (b) can’t tell our (a) from our (b) before hitting “Post” (LOL)

I don’t think Hussein will serve out his term. He will either be impeached or resign (a la Nixon) after the coming debacle in November.
