Duchess of Yorkski: Just what is Sarah Ferguson doing plugging social climbing classes...?
Daily Mail ^ | 11:45 AM on 10th March 2010 | Zoe Brennan

The Duchess of York flicks back her distinctive auburn hair and leans towards the camera. 'The world is changing,' she confides earnestly. 'The future never more uncertain, with an increasing population and a scarcity of national resources.' The words 'Deforestation', 'Terrorism', 'Global Warming', 'Credit Crunch' and 'Famine' flick alarmingly across the screen. 'The demand for well-paid jobs that are spiritually enriching is far outstripping supply,' she continues in Sloaney vowels. 'I want to give my children a chance - the best possible chance.' All rather confusing, given that her children - Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie - are fifth and sixth in line to the throne, and appear more interested in enjoying their gilded youth than slaving away at the career coalface.

100 or 150 years ago, there was a rising Middle Class. Poor people were becoming not-so-poor. They tried to learn etiquette. They took dancing lessons. They took music lessons. They read the right books, they listened to the right music.

I would say that all of that was good and helped create a civilized middle class that did a lot of good in society.

What Fergie seems to be doing here, however, is teaching people how the Ruling Class ought to behave.

This is not a step in the right direction.

“...well-paid jobs that are spiritually enriching..”

Drilling for oil and mining King Coal pay well, and in that they provide the essential energy that drives the ever-increasing world standard of living, should be manifestly “spiritually enriching”.

Not what the Duchess had in mind I’m sure.

But then, pampered euro-Commies don’t normally deploy logic and common-sense in their diseased thought processes.

The woman looks like she slept in her clothes after an all night drunk.

She’s not royalty. Her title is a courtesy title, without the HRH that distinguishes royals from non-royals. She lost her HRH after the divorce. She came from the lower gentry while Diana came from the higher aristocracy.

Her daughters are fat, spoiled, uncultured oafs. Seeing them with their $900 hats at the horse races reminds me of putting lipstick on a pig: what a waste of a $900 hat!
