Vancouver's visible minority population is on track to become the majority over the next two decades.

Will this lead to a change is language? Because if >50% of the population is a “visible minority”, then no ethnoracial group (assuming that it was ever fair to lump all “whites” together in one group) is the majority any longer, meaning that all groups (or none) are minorities. I have no problem with this, as long as everyone recognizes that it was the culture and values (like the rule of law, equality before the law, plurality, the Protestant work ethic, etc) of the (mostly northern) europeans who settled this country that made it such a desirable place to live.
Just in time to be wiped out by the melting Indian glaciers.
