2. The best and brightest will leave, probably to countries like New Zealand and become citizens there. New Zealand is not interested in older people or the uneducated/unskilled as immigrants.

1. Dont you have to pay U.S. income taxes even if living abroad? Depends on how much you make. When I was in Korea, you had to make at least $75k to have to pay any US tax. Since my income was not that high, I didn't owe any US Tax but I still had to file.
