This has made the rounds before - It’s a photoshop, but good idea nevertheless.

Doesn’t this guy know that if guns are banned, then criminals will line up to turn their guns in. Then their will be no guns besause they are illegal and stuff.

The owner of the house next door can file a complaint with the police dept while their family is being raped by intruders. So there.

"Their house is not armed!"

My house isn't armed either. But the owner is.

My house isn't armed

I was monkeying around in my garage and got one of those motion sensing light switches to fire an airsoft gun.

Thought about rigging it to ward off varmints and realized that it couldn't aim cept where I pointed it, and with no target recognition wouldn't discriminate between me and the raccoons.

So no my house isn't armed, but I've thought about it :)

Suggestion: There are webcams that follow motion. Might get close to hitting intruders like that. Turn off the device during the day when you’re going to be in the yard or have it set up like an alarm system that needs password to turn off and on. :-)

it couldn't aim cept where I pointed it

put baffles in front of the motion sensor so that it only "sees" where the gun is aimed.

I’ve had problems with dogs (critters?) knocking over the trash can at night. If it were aimed directly at the trash can, it would make some noise everytime something moved around the trash cans.

Someone solved your problem about 150 years ago. In the Winchester Firearms Museum in Cody, Wyoming in the middle of their approximately 10,000 arms is a watermelon patch gun.

It has four trip wires that were run down the rows in the patch 90 degrees apart from each other. When something bumped a wire it would swivel the gun in that direction and fire down that row.

It was one of the coolest guns in the collection.

>>Then their will be no guns besause they are illegal and stuff.<<

.
And then only government will own guns just like in Nazi Germany.

When one of those resolutions came up to make registered gun-owner list freely available to the public (published), our representative introduced an amendment that would have required households that did not have a gun to have a sticker on their front door that said, “Gun Free Household”.

the whole thing died before coming to a vote.

Sorry to be a little OT, but does anybody else find the process for posting on Boortz Really annoying?

Unlike a lot of web sites ( where for the most part there is a slight delay in a posting showing up – unless it's being ‘Moderated’ or you're new to the site, etc.)

It can take hours before something shows up and it's hit or miss when that will happen, drives me crazy.
