At age 69 the wife isn’t likely to recover very quickly from a broken back and neck. Yikes!
Is it certain neither woman has any internal injuries? Am glad they (at least the wife) has that excellent senatorial health care plan to depend on. The daughter appears to be married so who knows what her insurance deal is.
They’ll know more tomorrow when Mrs. Reid is stabilized enough for further tests. She’s a tiny thing...I feel bad she has to go through this at her age. They probably don’t want to say more about her condition until all the sons fly in from wherever they live.
