In politics, perception is everything.
And yet politicians never seem to learn that.
Republicans should have backed away from everyone involved in the matter, and that includes Boehner.
Now they have no moral authority to go after Nanzi Pelozi because Boehner is still the top Republicam in the House.
Mike Pence would have had the moral authrity to go after Pelousy if he was the Republican Leader.
But instead, Republicans just open themselves up to charges of hypocrisy.
Yet another casualty of keeping the ineffective Boehner on as Republican leader, even after all the damage they've incurred since he took over from Tom DeLay back when the GOP was still the majority.
