Palin-McCain Visit Starting To Take Shape

Former Republican vice presidential nominee and Alaska Governor Sarah Palin will be in Arizona the last weekend of March as part of Senator John McCain's re-election campaign. Details of that trip are now starting to come into focus.

McCain and his 2008 running mate will host a campaign rally in Tucson on the afternoon of Friday March 26th, before holding a high dollar fundraiser at the Arizona Biltmore later that evening. On Saturday the 27th they will hold another rally in Phoenix.

For the fundraiser, $2500 gets you into the dinner as well as an hour-long pre-dinner VIP reception, including a photo opportunity with McCain and Palin.

Tickets to the dinner alone run for $500, or $1000 for preferred seating.

The fundraiser will be at the same hotel resort where the McCain campaign spent the 2008 Super Tuesday. Ultimately the McCain-Palin campaign also chose as The Biltmore as the site for election night in 2008.

Palin is just one of many big name endorsements McCain has received lately in his GOP senatorial primary race against former Arizona congressman J.D. Hayworth.

And yet...she's still tops among GOP hopefuls in 2012.

I strongly urge you to keep the day job.

This is FREERepublic, and I guess all opinions staying within the rules framework are welcome, but maybe you could spend more time trying to convince people in AZ why they should vote for JD Hayworth and less time being a tool for the Progressives who want to see Palin crash and burn.

You call yourselves “conservatives” sitting there at your keyboards waiting like vultures for another negative story on Palin so they can jump in with as much enthusiasm as a Kamikaze with a Flat-Top off the port wing.

Palin is not the enemy. They reside in D.C. and the war is on.

I feel your pain!

The message from Governor Palin in THIS case takes MORE THAN one "handful" to communicate! ;)

Thanks for that list.
Where are all the hit piece FR post on those other names? Some on FR (a small minority) have such a vapid dislike and even hatred of Sarah Palin, and for no apparent reason other than believing the lies the mainstream media tells them, or from what they read on other FR post. Feeding off each others hatred. I cannot comprehend their close to insane antipathy towards her.

Erm, aren’t loyalty and gratefulness principles, too?

OK, let me refine my post.

Fidelity to constitutional principles when voting or supporting a political candidate, should always trump loyalty and gratefullness.

Palin is a tool.

This also coming from someone who support Jim Demint who is an unabashed supporter of Mitt Romney.
