Yep, the fix may well be in. As I understand it, the VP can overrule the parliamentarian. And if he does, and Republicans object, a roll call vote on the issue will happen. With 59 Dems in the Senate, a roll call vote would uphold the decision of the VP.
Rules and laws tend to be “Not Very Troubling” to those who have no intention of following them.
They will bankrupt this country before they would violate their allegiance to the Democrat Party -- the enemy of the middle class in America since the 1960s.

There is no reason for him wanting to. Making the House pass the Senate bill and mandating that the president sign it is the insurance policy for BOcare if reconciliation breaks down and/or if they double-cross the House. That way, they still have their law enacted.
It is irrational to think that Biden would want to overrule the parlimentarian on this.
Pelosi gave the game away today with her comment about "celebrating with the president's signature" and she was referring to passing the Senate bill. That should send shivers to the so-called Blue Dogs.
