Racial Preferences in the Democrats' Health Care Bill

All 1,018 pages of the Democrats' health care bill can be inspected here. The bill includes racial preferences. Under the Democrats' health care bill, if a medical school wants to increase its chances of receiving many different kinds of grants and contracts from the federal government, it should have a demonstrated record of training individuals who are from underrepresented minority groups. This is because the Democrats' health care bill requires the Secretary of Health and Human Services to give preference to the entities that have demonstrated such a record in the awarding of these contracts to medical schools and other institutions.

The bill does not state what would qualify as a "demonstrated record", so we can expect medical schools and the other entities to do whatever they think they can get away with to train as many "individuals who are from underrepresented minority groups" as they think they might need to have a better "demonstrated record" in this regard then other entities competing for the grants and contracts. The Democrats' health care bill creates a very significant financial incentive for medical schools and other entities to lower admission standards for "individuals who are from underrepresented minority groups" if that is what it takes to have the winning "demonstrated record".

Doesn't surprise me.

Let me guess, there's also a stipulation in there that exempts them from malpractice lawsuits as well.

I can't believe the so called People have allowed it to get this far.

Think I need to amend my son’s birth certificate to native american and negroid. This is the only way he will get half a chance of being treated equally by the government of his birth. Nothing says racism like a quota.

My race has never been an advantage to me. Everything I have, marriage, education, home, cars, bank accounts came to me through hard work, not being black. So I wouldn’t suggest you change your son’s birth certificate to negroid. Especially since that term is passe unless you are Harry Reid.

Let me get this right. Not only do minorities have tuition free education (gov't provided), welfare, food stamps, child care for their children so they can go to school, now the school that accommodates the underachieving student, gets kudos. . . . just because they are black.

My niece is working on her RN in Buffalo and she tells me about what is already going on in her school.

Good for you. You will appreciate your education and achievements more because you have worked for them. So refreshing to hear.

People who get advantages for nothing, don't appreciate them and it doesn't matter what color you are.

I graduated with my degree in registered nursing, I am black and the only little bit of funding I received was because my husband served in the U.S. military. Not every black person gets free tuition. I had a 3.6 GPA, if anybody deserved some free money it was me. I hope that my children, who are high school students, get scholarships because they are honor students. My daughter is in the top 5% of her class. If she gets funding, it will be because she is intelligent.

brwnsuga, most of my black acquaintances have the same story, making their way on merit and effort. But regrettably, only a few of them see conservatism as anything other than an opponent to be overcome. We need a lot more like you!

There is only one underrepresented minority group in America today, and he's at work during the week, hunting on Saturday, and going to church on Sunday.

The vast majority of people in America that don't fit this profile aren't "minorities". They are either "looters" or "parasites", both of whom feed off of the aforementioned "minority group".

The only "special treatment" they deserve is to feast at the table they've set for themselves with the finest examples of deprivation and self-inflicted agony.

Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.

I just said a few days ago that standards in medical schools would be lowered to make up for the tremendous shortage of doctors this bill would create. Little did I know it was already in the bill.

Your children are very lucky to have you and your husband. You are an excellent role model and have worked to achieve what you accomplished.

It's so very hard to watch those who have milked the system and in the end waste everything given to them or to be in places of responsibility without education or experience to justify their advancements.

Bump on the day of the vote.

All your Dem friends who supported Health Care Reform, let them know that their doctor in their declining years will likely be somebody who would not have been allowed near a scalpel without Affirmative Action.

Statement: "Racial Preferences in the Democrats' Health Care Bill"

Response: There is no suprise here as historically a conquering people typically prefer their own over the vanquished. Anglo Americans either have not yet learned this fact or simply are too degenerate to care.
