SAN FRANCISCO -- A video made by three cousins from Hayward charged with an alleged anti-gay shooting with a BB rifle last month in San Francisco shows 11 other attacks in a single night, authorities said Friday.
The men have been charged in San Francisco with a hate crime and assault for allegedly firing a BB rifle Feb. 26 at the face of a man they believed was gay. The man, who was walking on 16th Street near Guerrero Street, was not badly hurt and later identified the three suspects.
The three were freed on $50,000 bail soon after their arrest. But on Friday, Mohammad Habibzada, Shafiq Hashemi and Sayed Bassam, all 24, appeared in court and were immediately rearrested. They were all being held late Friday on $450,000 bail.
They were returned to custody after prosecutors viewed a video that police found in the three men's car when they were arrested.

Not in any urban CA county, where only cops and movie stars get permits under a "may issue" scheme.
Now in rural CA, permits are easier to come by, but still nowhere like in "shall issue" states.

Did anybody read the first sentence? Does it make sense to anybody here? Where do they get their Journalist from these days? It sounds like they were charged with shooting someone that was anti-gay???? Weird...

These State-Run Media types have never touched a rifle, nor looked down a barrel to see RIFLING! Nor have they touched a BB gun, or seen its SMOOTHBORE barrel!
If the SRM gets it this wrong about BB guns, what else do they get wrong?

People today are thin-skinned. When I was a kid we used to put on goggles and have BB gun wars. Hurt like hell but we had fun.
We also used sticks and trashcan lids for sword and shield. Also painful but also fun. I still do the sword and shield but with better equipment and less pain.
It just passed the Senate with flying colors. As what constitutes hate, and “false teaching” in this area can be much in the eyes of the beholder (see post 13 in thread), and as it covers every public mode of expression, this could be subtitled, “How to silence or incarcerate conservatives.”

Bullying is not to be encouraged, but the addition to this bill (SECTION 5. Section 98C of chapter 272) effectively could be used to “bully” speech that is seen as false, or is construed to be designed to promote hatred, as the type below has often been:

Rejection of God’s laws on sexual morality has already cost America alone of half a million deaths, and its eternal cost is worse. And despite the laborious attempts to negate what God has said on the subject, His living Word stands opposed to such*, and only sanctions marriage btwn opposite genders, as Jesus Himself affirmed (Mt. 19:4). And yet He offers salvation to sinners, straight or homosexual, thanks be to God.
