Why are Barack Obama and other Democrat leaders so intent on passing a government takeover of healthcare now…Now…NOW?
They must know that costs will rise and the quality of care will fall, right? They must know that Obamacare would destroy the economy, right? Of course they do. But, they also know that the federal government would tighten its grip on the nation. They know that Obama’s czars and other appointees would be authorized to bypass Congress in enacting sweeping regulations on nearly every aspect of a person’s life. And, they know that these new powers of the federal government would be concentrated in the hands of the Democratic Party and the President.
Here’s what else they know. History affords many examples of regimes whose motto was “Never let a crisis go to waste.” In 1933, having campaigned for “hope” and “change,” the National Socialist Worker’s Party forced through the German parliament a Law to Remedy the Distress of the People and the Nation, also known as the Enabling Act.
This new law enabled the German chancellor and his appointees to bypass parliament in imposing sweeping regulations on the people:
“In addition to the procedure prescribed by the constitution, laws of the Reich may also be enacted by the government of the Reich [i.e., the Cabinet].”

It never has been about health care. This is a well-documented socialist/Marxist tactic to gain power and control over the country and the people. Even Reagan preached about this risk from the radical left, that they too would try to gain power over America by controlling the medical industry and your health. The easy road to radical socialism.

Not sure, but after amnesty passes, the elections will definitely be moot.
I dont think the November elections are the least bit moot. In fact, you could argue that the elections are more relevant than ever as a referendum on the legislation.

They wont have McCuckoo, Kennedy or Martinez this time, and Grahamnesty has said shamnesty will be dead if they use dirty tricks to pass healthcare.

Similar to Parliament’s 1766 Declaratory Act too. That Act asserted control over colonists in “in all cases whatsoever.” Those words inflamed New England. They were blasphemous. Parliament did not rule in all cases. God rules.
Yes, we outnumber them, and are getting off our duffs, although late in the game. It is unsettling that it is a few Dems, who by accident, may buy us more time by stopping the bill. The healthcare bill seems to be a point of no return. I hope the Nov. elections prove to not be moot as this article suggests could be the case that emerges.

If the healthcare bill passes the Nov. elections are moot? They will happen and the Republicans will probably win them but 10 years later that win will not have made any difference at all. We will not be a Euro socialist country. We will be Socialist trending rapidly to the Soviet model.
Yes to a large degree. America is on the road to be converted to communism and sweeping changes have already been taken.
