Netanyahu keeps strong position despite American pressure. Says 'cabinet's decision to end construction freeze after 10 months remains standing'
Despite the unprecedented crisis with the White House following Israel's plan to build 1,600 new housing units in the east Jerusalem neighborhood of Ramat Shlomo, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he plans to forge ahead with construction in Jerusalem "as we have since the Six Day War".
Knesset Member Tzipi Hotovely's asked Netanyahu during a Likud faction meeting what will happen after the 10-month construction freeze period ends in September. The prime minister replied that "construction in Jerusalem and anywhere else will continue as has been the custom during the past 42 years. The cabinet's decision to end the construction freeze after 10 months remains standing."

Take that muzzie prez.
Build baby build!
Thank goodness. Once a country surrenders its sovereignty it only gets worse from there. These are dark days but they won’t last forever. In addition to other boneheaded moves, Obama has picked a fight with the Supreme Court. I’d be surprised if that didn’t have repercussions.
Can someone refresh my memory? What was the point of a freeze in the first place? To see if “give ‘em an inch and they’ll chew off your arm” is still a law of nature?
Not so good - people really need to read the articles. From further down:
“a senior cabinet source on Sunday night told Ynet, “The price for the American insult will be a de-facto construction freeze across greater Jerusalem. There will be no other choice, due to the government’s stupidity.”
“The necessary gestures will halt construction work in all settlements. Tenders that were in the works will be put on hold, even if those were part of previously approved projects,” the source added.”
Keep wagging both middle fingers at the commie fascist muzzie watermelon salesman, Bibi! You rock! :)
Disinformation. They’re not going to stop.

I did read it and the person that quoted that has no name and is a leftist!
What Bibi said stands.
I hope you’re right.
Bibi! You rock! :)
Hear, Hear! and Bibi NEVER stand down especially to the muslim leader of the free world!
The list, ping
Wow, I finally managed to post a double reply. I have no idea how it happened, but apologies to the thread.
Fwiw, I think Bibi is too savvy to start down the long, self-destructive road of appeasing Obama. He wouldn’t be where he is if he couldn’t figure out who his friends are - and why would he appease an enemy? I think if Obama tries to retaliate financially against Israel he really will incur a harsh blowback. Hopefully Rahm is astute enough, and still have sufficient influence, to head such a move off at the pass.
Take THAT you rude embarrassing fraud.
May G-d give Netanyahu more and more strength as the enemy seems to rise up to fight him as he tenderly cares for Israel. We can all help to fight this battle by praying for Israel and Netanyahu. Prayer does change things.
