In the conclusion of his speech, he told the crowd that he would ignore the polls and do what the people want:

First of all...they are asking people in the polls...not cows, chickens or sheep...so the polls are telling what the people want.

Secondly, I keep reading that statement over and over, trying to figure out what Obama means. BECAUSE...OBAMA....HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT THE PEOPLE WANT IF YOU DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO THE POLLS?

Polls that you were very happy to pay attention to when they favored you. Why did they count and these, today, against the HC bill, do not?

Agreed. The Obama Junta is targeting the expansion of its rule by fiat.They do it whenever they can and like you say, this helath care bill will put them obver the top. A welfare socialist state is being created before our very eyes.

People were angry because their free ride was over. Try taking welfare away from somebody who has had it for years. They went with “touchy feely” just this once, and got screwed.
