Pelosi: 'Once we kick through this door,' more reform will follow
Washington Examiner ^ | March 16, 2010 | Byron York

If you have any doubt that the Democratic leadership of the House views passing the current health care reform bill as the beginning, not the end, of the process of creating a national government health care system, just note what Speaker Nancy Pelosi told a group of bloggers on Monday. "My biggest fight has been between those who wanted to do something incremental and those who wanted to do something comprehensive," Pelosi said, according to an account by Washington Post reform advocate Ezra Klein. "We won that fight, and once we kick through this door, there'll be more legislation to follow."

Hey Nancy!
You wanna see doors kicked down?

Just try passing this series of Communist takeovers and see what happens.

We will just refuse to play by your rules. You don't have enough willing police and/or military to control us and you don't have enough jails to contain us. We only obey out of civility and not out of fear, but go ahead and push that button you freedom leeching slug.

“She’s betting that won’t happen. She expects a lot of squawking but nothing more. Once it’s done, she doesn’t think we will have the moxie to undo it.”

And based on her observational experience, how in the world could she arrive at any other conclusion? For generations we have seen the inexorable expansion of the central planners and collectivists, and NEVER have they been punished by the electorate for expanding tyranny. she may be a fascist whack job, but reality supports her proposition in this case.

She has forgotten who her employers are.

Good news is a lot of her constituents in SF are PO'd at her for sure. Bad news is, they think she's acting too "conservative."

“...so it really shouldn’t surprise here when she gets ran out of town”

Preferrably on a rail, covered in tar and feathers!

We need more than a backlash - we need a tsunami.

Liberalism needs to be washed away - for good.

The first thing the new Speaker should do after the elections in November is to sell Pelosi’s jets and eliminate all perks in the House of Representatives.

Pelosi, or Congress, doesn't own any Jets. The Air Force does. The rest I agree with

After this bill passes those that refuse to “reform” will have their doors kicked down.

What keeps going through my mind is this: "But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."
