The World Association of Girl Scouts and Girl Guides hosted a no-adults-welcome panel at the United Nations (U.N.) this week where Planned Parenthood was allowed to distribute a brochure entitled “Healthy, Happy and Hot.” The event was part of the annual United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW).
The brochure, aimed at young people living with HIV, contains explicit and graphic details on sex, as well as the promotion of casual sex in many forms. The brochure claims, “Many people think sex is just about vaginal or anal intercourse… But, there are lots of different ways to have sex and lots of different types of sex. There is no right or wrong way to have sex. Just have fun, explore and be yourself!”
The brochure goes on to encourage young people to “Improve your sex life by getting to know your own body. Play with yourself! Masturbation is a great way to find out more about your body and what you find sexually stimulating.” It then proceeds to offer specific instruction on how to masturbate. The brochure also tells students that national laws requiring HIV-positive people to reveal their status to their partner(s) “violate the rights of people living with HIV” and calls for advocacy to “change laws that violate your rights.” It explains, “There are many reasons that people do not share their HIV status. … They may worry that people will find out something else they have kept secret, like they are using injecting drugs, having sex outside of a marriage or having sex with people of the same gender.”
The Girl Scouts, along with the YMCA have been co-moderating a young women’s caucus that included an “Intergenerational Conversation” side event on “universal access” and “reproductive health.” One recent Girl Scout project “aims at securing the right of women, men and adolescents aged between ten and twenty-five, to better reproductive and sexual health.”
Also at CSW last week, the heads of various powerful U.N. agencies including the U.N. Population Fund, U.N. Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), U.N. Children’s Fund and the World Health Organization released a “U.N. Joint Statement” under the name of the “U.N. Adolescent Girls Task Force,” which calls for their agencies to promote and support programs “that empower … adolescent girls, particularly those aged 10 to 14 years.”
One of the chief priorities for empowerment is ensuring access to “life-skills based sexuality education, HIV prevention, and sexual and reproductive health.”
The New York Times recently reported that the U.N. Population Fund has co-sponsored a very controversial curriculum with UNESCO, that includes teaching children as young as five to be sexually active and training adolescents to advocate for abortion.
Wendy Wright, president of Concerned Women of America told the Friday Fax, “Governments and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) should be aware of Planned Parenthood’s insidious plan to work with U.N. agencies and girls’ organizations in order to profit from encouraging kids to be sexually active.”
Sorry to see the Girl Scout organization decide to become an unwholesome and unhealthy organization. I’m glad my daughter never showed any interest in joining.

I don't get shocked as much as disgusted. In general I read the news and I go through a series of bouts of disgust.
How sad. Fortunately, in my case, my daughter has no interest in these sorts of groups. She has plenty of social outlets she's highly involved in as it is.
As with other feminists, you can’t blame the Girl Scout leadership in general, because there are different kinds of Girl Scout leaders with different opinions. And you’ll never know one Girl Scout leader from another, so you can’t criticize them. [Little irony and sarcasm there. ...saw that argument a few times lately and during the ‘90s from victim/amazonian feminists.]
Young Folks: keep it in your pants, and be very sceptical of “socialization” with the bandwagons. Vices are for keeping you from rising to compete in business in order to keep you in slavery.

Not the most convincing argument as to why they should be allowed to keep their infection a secret.

This is the international organization, not the US Girl Scouts ... though we are a member organization as are all the world's 10 million Guides and Scouts.
No “insidious difference”. The eurolib globalists are in control of world scouting for both Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. Check it out. Check out the international Boy Scout movement call for gays, integration of girls into Boy Scouts, etc.
Therefor this is a misleading title!! This is like saying the UN represents the USA, and what goes on at the UN is driven by the USA.
What is this, bash the Girl Scouts week? We just celebrated our 98th year.

This convocation at the UN was for teenagers, and many of them Girl Guides from African and Asian member countries where AIDS is a daily life experience for teenage girls. I suppose this program (hijacked in its intent by materials provided by the radicalized Planned Parenthood) was supposed to help international Guides and Scouts, in a service effort to be ambassadors to their communities for AIDS awareness and education.
The Guides in Africa have badges for AIDS projects- also for Malaria and Diarrhea. This reflects the reality of life on the ground for teenage Girl Guides in 3rd world member organizations.
Please do not let this misleading title make you think there were US Brownies sitting there at the UN getting graphic sex ed from Girl Scouts of the USA.
WorldNet Daily has a real attitude against the US Girl Scouts and misses no opportunity to report on liberal aberrations to the great majority of fairly traditionally grounded, locally organized and volunteer-run troops.
Being a girl scout back in the 60’s was one of the happiest memories of my childhood.
Now? I wouldn’t put any child of mine in that toxic, femmi-nazi, man-hating, earth-worshipping indoctrination camp.
