Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano this afternoon brushed off Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s request for surveillance planes and 1,000 fresh troops along the Mexican border.
That drew swift denunciation from the governor, who put state police and other assets on standby, citing the heightened risk of spillover violence from Mexico’s drug war.

Actually, Perry’s response to those calling for border enforcement has been tepid. He does not give a damn about the influx of illegals or the crime and blight they bring. Perry cares about one thing: votes. All of his actions are carefully choreographed and planned out.
Why did Gov. Perry bother asking fo federal help? Obama is probably enjoying the entertainment from yet another source of danger to our country.

If this amnesty, CIR/ASAP passes, it will all be a moot point.
One of the provisions says there will NEVER be national guard deployed to the border.
