I had lunch with an old family friend the other day. She is 82, black, a Christian, registered Independent but usually votes Democratic.
She is FURIOUS with Obama, feels used ‘for his own purposes.’ She is ready to join the Tea Parties and toss the whole bunch out. I told her that before long she’d be listening to Rush and she’d love him; I sent her some back copies of his newsletters.
She cannot be the only one.

Nice to hear your voice. Your friend is certainly not the only one. All of my friends in the black community who keep up with events are dispirited with Obama.
Sarah speaks best to those who love America and believe in pulling themselves up by their own bootstraps.

We can only hope that minorities in America wise up to being used as a political football for greedy and unscrupulous politicians. With some internal debate in the DNC and with factual representations about how the government works, minority Americans can bring a much needed balance to the process. This polarity is not working
