Not the interpretation of what they mean...for instance...you are led to believe that travel is Sean Hannity. You probably are not aware that Freedom Alliance flies families overseas (often) and pays for their hotel rooms, food, etc. to visit their wounded family member. The author is aware of this, but chose to ignore that fact and distort the information to you so that they can harm an American.
Shame on all who buy into this crap!
So, more money went to the families, and less money went to administration, than is reported on the tax returns? I’m not arguing how the money was spent (planes, SUVs, etc...I don’t care)...I want to know why the distribution to the families is so small. This is even worse than United Way performance.
I understand your concern, however...
Please explain the miniscule amounts of money that are going to the scholarships. He touts the fact that the charity is going to ensure these kids won’t have to pay for college. Seems quite misleading to do so if the charity is not ponying up to see these kids through school doesn’t it?
This lady has much to lose by posting this as well as Hannity.
He should be able to cover his own expenses with the endorsement deals and his salaries, and his book money. Why does he need to bill the charity for expenses to and from these events? One would think he would be paying his own way to ensure that every dollar possible would go to the charity.
I never really cared for his self-aggrandizing manner, but this has way too much specific information to dismiss out of hand as a hatchet job.
He needs to do one of two things, clarify this immediately or come clean and get this cleaned up.
“You probably are not aware that Freedom Alliance flies families overseas (often) and pays for their hotel rooms, food, etc. to visit their wounded family member.”
I hope that is true (not calling you a liar), however the the Freedom Alliance doesn’t bill itself as being the benefactor of travel funds. It’s purpose is to finanically assist soliders and their families and it seems not too much money is being spent on that, according to the tax forms. And those are hard to argue with.
I do pray this is not true and if it is, Sean should get off the air.
Only $60,000 was claimed as airfare, so you are saying they are putting the travel expense for wounded vets families under “consultant costs?”
I second that! Shame on some of you for believing things without verifying the facts. Seems some are just as gullible as those who put the zero in office. There are guidelines that all charities must follow and a percentage that must go toward that charity. If Sean was doing anything illegal with this, he would’ve been in trouble years ago with the IRS.
Now, if this were Glenn Beck, everyone on here would call BS. Some are just as misguided as the libs they loathe.
Interesting to see the hit job on Sean’s charity in the midst of his hard hitting at the healthcare fiasco DAILY on FOX! Sorry... not biting. Too bad there are so many Freepers here more than willing to pile on... shame.
