Anyone bashing conservative Republicans such as Sarah Palin has my attention.

As I wrote earlier, the truth hurts, doesn't it, Chunga? (Question #1)

Just last year she said publicly (there was a FR thread sourced from The Washington Times on the matter) that she would support candidates, regardless of party affiliation, who shared her views.

And now she's supporting McCain.

Exactly how much of McCain's progressive, backstabbing, treacherous agenda does Palin support? (Question #2)

Judging by the fact that, with regards to a number of major issues, she's either parsed her words very carefully, repeated populist rhetoric, or just straight up remained silent, it's kinda hard to tell where she stands on a lot of things. But she is pretty. And she does have a nice family. And she does seem to be just an average American.

But you must remember that looks can be deceiving, and the next two elections (2010 and 2012) had better be about more than just a popularity contest or another Republican power grab because this nation is going to go the way of Greece, Argentina, and the other basket case failed States if we Americans aren't careful to elect folks who actually give a damn. Oh, and before you treat us all to your rabidly anti-Democrat sheep bleating tripe, know that the Republicans are just as much to blame for the present condition since they either refused to fight or just straight up went along with the Democrats' Big Government garbage. But hey, they were being pragmatic...and saving themselves!

Now, as for the so-called "loyalty" to McCain, where does it end? When she gets McCain re-elected, conservatives stupidly re-elect her as President, and then McCain twists her arms to support his own damnable and decidedly non-conservative vision for America? And even more, why is she choosing to be loyal to a man over loyalty to her country and to those beliefs she claims to adhere to? Isn't that a direct contradiction of the entire theme ("Country First") of the McCain-Palin campaign? (Questions #3-5)

Now, if Palin can't stand up to legitimate scrutiny and legitimate lines of questioning from her fellow conservatives (that's assuming she actually is more than just a mere politician), then what makes you so sure that she can stand up to the mud-flinging coming from the progressives? (Question #6)

And by the way, I hope you might actually take some time to provide insightful and cogent answers to these questions instead of just flinging mud...because only mindless sheep (liberal or conservative, the affiliation is irrelevant) fling mud.

I don’t blame your anger at Palin. I’m just riding this out, FRiend. My support for her is weakened, but will not end over her loyalty.
