Al Gore, on his website, flags this passage in Mitt Romneys recent book No Apology:
I believe that climate change is occurring the reduction in the size of global ice caps is hard to ignore. I also believe that human activity is a contributing factor.
Gore writes: We can have disagreements about the solutions to this crisis, but we need to acknowledge fundamental truths. The science proving the existence of the climate crisis is not in question. That is where our debates about policy need to begin.
Romney, a potential 2012 GOP presidential candidate, and Gore certainly disagree on solutions. The former Massachusetts governor, who failed to secure the 2008 GOP White House nomination, has bashed cap-and-trade, which Gore favors.
fyi
NO, NO and NO to Romney!!!!!!
It is so sick how the media keeps trying to chose our 2012 nominee for us.
Hmmmm, Romneycare, now this.
Buh bye Mitt.
Romney:
Obamacare, check.
Cap and Trade scam, check.
Next?
I believe that climate change is occurring the reduction in the size of global ice caps is hard to ignore. I also believe that human activity is a contributing factor.
Ouch.
Another reason never, ever to support a stinking RINO
Amnesty.
Taxes.
Wilsonian foreign policy.
The list keeps going on and on.
Romney is a progressive!
Climate change is not climate crisis. Nice sleight of hand, Al.
The martian ice caps are shrinking too. Big deal.
cap-and-trade, which Gore favors
Gore favors legalized corruption and money laundering which will have no effect whatever on solar output, no effect on climate cycles, no effect on weather patterns, but it will allow suits like Gore and his pals to take a cut of everything you do, and I mean everything. And it will allow the Mussolinis of the world to regulate and dictate absolutely everything. So its a win-win.
I have been waiting for the airtight evidence to come forward that proves manmade global warming exists. Who knew it was right there, all along, in Mitt Romney’s book.
OK, cap me, trade me, I am on board with the whole scheme - um, I mean science - now.
NEWSFLASH! Climate change has always occurred. Human activity has always contributed to it-- just as taking a leak in the ocean contributes to the water supply therein.
Mitt needs to run as a Democrat. He would look positively sane by comparison to the remainder of that group .
The Republicans, however, have many better options.
Kush meer in toches, Romney.
Democrats only like you when you agree with them.
Romney and McCain are in a race to see who can stab conservatives the most.
I believe in Man-made global warming...
I believe that Man ... Made it up!
***I have been waiting for the airtight evidence to come forward that proves manmade global warming exists***
Here it is;)
Those Damn Neanderthals!!!!
During the last ice age, much more water was contained in the polar ice caps, and the North Sea included an area of land larger than England and Wales, linking East Anglia with Holland and Belgium, with a much narrower stretch of water cutting off Britain from Norway.
It is thought to have been a land of rivers and marshes, which offered good hunting grounds for people. As the earth warmed and sea levels rose 8,000 years ago, the land was covered by water. Sea levels rose at one or two metres per century, creating a loss of land which would have been noticeable to the residents but not enough to drown them overnight.
Ahh, I should have known you would have seen this already. LOL
Keep up the vital work!
You betcha!
oh, goody....now Romney, Gore & McCain all agree.
Kudos from AlGore is like getting slimed.
Not to mention his flips on amnesty. In 2008 he said he was against it but now he changed his mind again.
So...now I need a new pic of a donkey humping a RINO, if you happen to run across one...
I’ll keep an eye out for one.
Red rover, red rover, send Romney on over—to their side!
let the RNC Kick him out of the party...thats right Mr. Steele....it is up to you....kick the RINOs out...you can start with yourself.
Oh Mitt. Facepalm.

Change you can blow chunks to!
Everytime Romney opens his mouth gives me more reason to never vote for him
That and he’s from Massachusetts. No conservative has ever come out of Massachusetts (within the last 100 years).
Oh gawd, my eyes, quick post a pic of Helen Thomas to wash the mental image outta my head!
“NEWSFLASH! Climate change has always occurred. Human activity has always contributed to it— just as taking a leak in the ocean contributes to the water supply therein.”
So why the commotion?
Industrial sized garbage bag barf alert!
Two socialists that were hatched from under the same rock.
You have a certain element who frequents these threads that sees Mitt Romney as a bigger threat to the country than Obama, Osama Bin Laden and devil combined, rather than the common garden variety RINO which he is.
And if you don’t buy into their kooky theories completely, then they see you as the enemy as well.
Nice little kiss of death, there.
Reason to not vote for RINOmney #382
Hey Where are all the Romney supporters??? LOL!!!
How does Romney manage to be on the wrong side of so many issues, esp. one where the position he adopts is being proven more and more by the day to have been a fraud, manipulated by criminal “scientists” to produce the end result they hoped for?
I was a Mitten once. Everything ever written about Mitt Romney was positive. A Republican in a Dem State. A good, decent family man. Very successful executive in business before politics. Well-spoken, not a Democrat.
After reading in-depth research by FReepers, it became clear that MR has a desire to please all the people, all the time; rather than having sound Conservative principles.
I believe he is still a good man, but a misguided politician. I see no point in attacking him when there are more vile targets to destroy.
This (among other things) is the KISS OF DEATH for Romney the RINO.
Good post. It always fries me how "young earthers" think that those of us who think they're stone-age minded misdirects, are somehow pro global warming. The irony is that the young earth scenario would create "science" that would abolutely support the man-made premise. The thing that tells me that man-caused global climate change, warm or cold, is utterly, entirely independent of man and even if it wasn't, we don't have even the smidgen of perspective or historical records to determine that.
Eight thousand years is a long time to the human race. What were we even doing 8,000 years ago? But in the context of truth, 8,000 years is a laughable vanity, no more than a split second.
So Romney was never pro-life and now he is kissing algore’s fat behind? Which party was he planning on running in?
The ice caps aren’t melting and even if they were it is not in the least an abnormal event. The real sham is even if the earth is getting warmer which is really a matter of measurement of temperature of when and where we still are faced with the near scientific certainity that even if mankind’s >1% contribution to global CO2 were reduced to zero it would accomplish nothing. Those who promote a political solution require extrodinary costs are doing so either out of stupidity or search for control and power.
Al Gore’s kiss of death for Romney. Guess he should compete in the Democrat primaries with the other liberal candidates.
