I sure as hell hope so. The country of ours needs to put the breaks on the politicians and shut them down for six months. Send them all home. There’s nothing that they are doing that can’t wait for six months. Cut their pay while they are gone and tell them if they don’t start doing the people business, we’ll cut their pay for the rest of the year.

The reason that state legislatures of today meet for such short periods of time is that they became so corrupt that the people decided to cut back the lenght of legislative sessions to halt their mischief.

Barack Obama has been the catalyst that has sparked a restructuring of the American political and social consciousness.

Add to that gun and ammo sales, and you've got a trifecta.

We may be at war on Monday morning no matter how the vote on Sunday afternoon goes.

I have no idea why you’re telling me this? Was I not supposed to do that? If not, I apologize.

Otherwise, I’m confused. Same as usual.

The founders were classic liberals. We need to stop letting them steal our name.

Well, most of the Founders and Framers were ....

The Communists have been stealing names since the 30's. First they stole "Progressives" from the real Progressives of the 1890's-1920's, then they stole "liberals" from the real liberals (examples: Jack Kennedy as noted above, Hubert Humphrey, Adlai Stevenson, Henry "Scoop" Jackson).

What they really are is neo-Stalinists.

Both get a bulls-eye. We keep going back to sleep.
My hope is that each time we’re awakened, fewer people hit the snooze, though not enough recognize the dangers we face.

Amazing that this is from the Aspen Times. Aspen is where all the rich liberals go to play.
