They need a Granholmout Day. But, then they just keep voting them in. BTW, what happens to the voting districts when they bulldoze neighborhoods in Detroit? Can we then reduce the number of reps they have in the house?

Good Friday is coming up - fasting and abstinence. She could have made that her “meatless” day without anyone’s noticing a difference in sales.

Oh NO I didn’t pick her. :)

Trust me, the meat industry in Michigan should rejoice. Everyone I know is eating meat all three meals because of her “proclaimation”. Can’t wait for my HUGE dinner steak.

What an ignorant BEEEEYotch!!!

How this woman, who would be more at home in NYC or SF, get elected twice as governor of Michigan?

Lefties as always telling people they know better. Not that vegetarian is bad; however; there is only one vegetarian I know that is still alive (all died early) and he is always ill.

Republican Connecticut Governor Jodi Rell made the same proclamation earlier this week. Many people responded by stating on one radio show they will be barbecuing steaks today. I’m going out to buy a big juicy steak for tonight’s dinner.

All you Michiganders ought to host a BBQ in your neighborhoods on that day.

These idiots (Granholm) think the great depression were ‘glory days’ and keep trying to re-live them!

She needs to be deported back to Canada!

Hey Granholm. you are a couple of weeks late. Michigan Catholics use Friday’s during the Lenten season as their “Meatout Day.”

In a sane world, Michigan legislators would now be holding an emergency session to see if they could boot Granholm out of office for reasons of insanity. Michigan doesn’t live in the real world anymore. Coming to a state near you.

I’m going to walk around with my pants unzipped today.

Does that count as meatout?

If I lived in Michigan, I’d be firing up the grill for a big, huge barbecue. Pork ribs, steaks, chicken...the whole nine yards.
