"DEERFIELD BEACH — A 15-year-old girl was viciously attacked by a boy outside Deerfield Beach Middle School on Wednesday afternoon and remains hospitalized with critical injuries, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office.
Investigators have arrested a boy they say punched the girl, then smashed her head on the pavement and continued to kick her and stomp on her head with steel-toe boots as she lay unconscious, said Sheriff's Office spokesman Mike Jachles."

It sounds like what he did involved “curbing”, in which an unconscious person is dragged to a sharp curb, then their mouth is opened and put on the curb, before the back of their head is stomped. The resulting damage is impressive and grotesque.
It is a favored attack by skinheads and worse.

Removing part of the skull due to swelling is not always as devistating as it sounds...they replace it once the swelling goes down. It can be a good thing. Prayers for her full recovery.

They are both White.. So no racial problems there..
Trying to find a racial angle to every crime and assuming that every assailant is black and every victim is white is silly and makes Free Republic look racist (one can find threads on white supremacist web sites suggesting infiltration of Free Republic by emphasizing black-on-white crime as a way to coax out the racism). Crime statistics show that the vast majority of all violent crimes involve two people of the same race or ethnicity. In fact, a lot of crimes are committed by someone the victim knows.
Most crime is within ones race but google “the color of crime” which is from FBI crime statistics... you will find that interracial crime is pretty much a one way street. And it is black on white assault, murder and rape
It was not curbing.... the attacker was too young, crazy and stupid to do that which I saw on American History X.
Looks like the girl might make it, thankfully.
My girlfriend is a teacher at this school, so this hit pretty close to home. She was pretty upset when it happened and so were many of the students.... luckily this girl was not one of erh own students, but she did know her. This is a really rough school, but there are some good kids here trying their best to make it....
The 13 year old girl who pointed out the victim, while *knowing* she would be attacked, was arrested last week and charged as an accesory.... I fully agree with that action being taken....
Horrible story, but lets pretend that the beating didn’t happen. Then what we have is a very mean girl if I caught it right that she was relentlessly teasing the boy about his dead brother. I don’t get out much but that sounds awful to me.
I’m afraid she was saying things like “your brother was a loser and I’m glad he’s dead. Why don’t you kill yourself too”
