I was given vicodin when I had carpal tunnel surgery, took one pill and that was it.. they made me feel worse than the pain from surgery.

Sadly, in the future, those of us getting along in years will now ONLY have the option of the pain pills. I have a feeling they aren’t going to care whether or not the pills make us feel better or worse. It will be a pill or nothing, and the cheapest pain pill around, at that. Older Americans aren’t worth surgey, hasn’t 0bama pretty much said that very thing?
