Awesome. Of course, only the final tally will tell. Who will stand for freedom, and who will fall for socialism?

Where did you hear that he will vote No?

They have already decided not to use the Deem and Pass...

I think his switch is why they may be getting rid of Deemon Pass.

It does not mean squat. He is voting for the bill.

He switched to vote yes on the “final” bill because Pelosi agreed to get some water to California farmers. California central valley has an artificial drought because environmentalist are protecting a fish species and stopped water from flowing.

If true, great news. Let’s keep the pressure on. Maybe we can get Jim Costa to switch too.

A No vote on Deem and Pass isn’t a guarantee of a No vote on the bill. Am I missing something here?

Moderator: you can pull from Breaking News and change the title to “Cardoza NO on Deem and Pass”

Well it’s something, anyway -— guess my pointed e-mail to the guy the other day must’ve gotten thru to him - ha

I personally don’t think ANY of them have a clue about how this will finally shake out. It is absolutely crucial to take a vote so the world can see who is voting for what — no a** covering with sleight of hand trickery!!!!

Deem and Pass is now officially DEAD. This thread is irrelevant.

I thought Obama had the ‘hispanic caucus’ in line with the giveaways he gave them the other day.....Puerto Rico gets Obamacare free, and more ‘latino’ medical clinics to be built here in the USA.

On Mar. 19, Cardoza said:

“’’He says that this bill is good for the American people, that it moves the system forward, saves money,’’ said Rep. Dennis Cardoza, D-Calif., who has spoken with Obama recently and plans to do so again before Sunday’s showdown House vote. Asked whether Obama suggested his presidency’s success was on the line, Cardoza said, ‘’No, never with me.’”

But will he vote against the Senate bill directly? Apparently now the Rats may be trying to go that route.

HOLY COW!!! I am shocked!!! Hurraaayyyyyyyy!!!

The beck show on all the inside details on the water did him in. He is the most left of any dem I know. We got 129% of rainfall, and farmers get 25% of their allocation.

My husband is saying it is a trick. He says in the end he will be a deciding vote but they won’t call on him unless they need it. In other words you got a payoff so you hide.

Costa is a Pelosi lapdog..for sure keep the pressure on.

Remember a lot of these reps want illegal amnesty. They have been promised they will get it with their yes votes.

They’ve lost the pro-life dems, probably including the ones that they had plied away with promises. Dems will have no cover if they vote for the Senate bill. This may be Pelosi’s only option now, and rather than pull the bill and deal with it later, Obama knows he has to get it off the table this week and get onto some other way to wreak havoc on the country.

They will go for the whole enchilada, an up or down vote. If they lose, they go on to amnesty where they think they can win.

They didn’t say they wouldn’t use reconciliation, so they may have 51 Senate signatures promising to support amendments and think they can pass the Senate bill as written.

“Opposed to Deemon pass. Will vote NO”

Now they’re talking about a straight up vote on the Senate bill - which may pass at 216 - but they may be a few votes short, and who knows if all the ‘yesses’ and ‘nos’ are firm?? It’s been quite a horrible ride all week.

Keep calling and praying!

This is incredible:

But House Democrats say privately they could score a public relations coup by killing this strategy and doing things the old-fashioned way.
