1962. I suppose it's the people I don't get along with. When you grow up in the South you get fed up with New Yorkers telling you how much more intelligent they are.

I met a guy about 20 years ago, a retired NYC transit cop that moved down here. When I see him face to face we get along, but I heard him on a radio talk show a couple of weeks ago talking about how stupid Southerners are. Actually, he isn't smart enough to pee down his leg if his shoe caught on fire, but he is still convinced he knows everything. He might learn, if he'd shut his damned mouth long enough! He is far from unique, trust me! It's what we expect from New Yorkers.

Are you talking about Rush? He makes fun of Rio Linda, a town in CA. He was raised in Missouri or somewhere close to there.
