“Nor will they be able to shop in stores, go to movies, attend church or do anything at all in public ~ without being hassled in some manner.
The Congress will need to retreat to a Green Zone surrounding the Capitol ~ first, they will build a 12 foot chainlink fence.”

They probably have everything provided for them. They don’t have to go out in the real world like the rest of us.

Look, they have elderly parents, brothers, sisters, wives, children ~ for them life is more than eating in the House dining room.

They'll want out and that's where they'll discover all their weaknesses.

I’m glad I held my reply until I had read all the other responses.

I was very much taken with a comment that proudtobeanamerican1 had expressed @11 regarding “I wouldn’t feel safe after voting no.” My initial reaction was to say “I wouldn’t feel safe after voting yes” but wanted to clarify it a bit.

Shire notes that our civil servants have not only alienated themselves from their masters politically, but they have insulated themselves against contact with the “huddled masses”. They increasingly fear us (remember the townhalls last summer?!) and know that they are working against our expressed will (but don’t care).

Should they succeed with this HELLcare Øbama-nation it will be they who will require even more stringent protection against the upstart rabble.

This is going to end very badly...

That is precisely why a career in politics should be made nearly impossible. They are supposed to be our servants. They have morphed into our masters.

They have to be made to live under the the laws they pass, like the rest of us. TERM LIMITS, NOW AND FOREVER!
