Yes. The Continental Army was no match for the Redcoats. The only reason George Washington is hailed as a hero today is because he (and the rebel cause) were bailed out by the French.
And that’s George Freaking Washington, a true giant of a man both physically and metaphorically. There isn’t a Keyboard Kommando on the whole Internet worthy of carrying his jockstrap. It’s a 100% certainty that anyone blathering on he Web about violent action, forming a group of militiamen, or otherwise taking the fight to the streets, etc. is a low-grade moron with a severe and untreated disassociative disorder.
